Ernie’s PSA test came back as undetectable.  I am now officially exhausted with relief.  Thank you SO much for all the kind words.  It means so much to both of us.

By the way—-to anyone that reads this….if you are male, and of a certain age, shall we say….are you getting your PSA tested?????  Ernie’s diagnosis began with a simple blood test.  If you have any history of prostate cancer in your family you should be tested in your 40s—but when you turn 50 you should definitely have it done regardless of history.  Ernie is unusually young for prostate cancer but there are such huge numbers of this type of cancer that it means there are plenty of younger men that get diagnosed……
