This used to be called Devil’s night when we lived outside Detroit….I wonder if it is still called that?
Well the boys did an INCREDIBLE job with their pumpkin designs. We ended up doing the actual carving but the boys drew their designs. Owen’s is on the left, Leo’s is on the right and the Cynthia/Ernie pumpkin is in the middle. In the video clip you can hear Owen and I talking about his late grandmother. My sweet peas. Ernie put The Boards of Canada on the stereo but Owen found it too spooky so we had to change it.
It was a good evening.
They made it into “Angels Night” after the got the citizen street patrols out to stop all the arsons. When I left they had fewer arsons on 10/30 than the rest of the year. When they called it Devil’s Night it was on account of the gazillion arsons…
