I love my glasses!!! Owen—and even Leo—said they looked great although the next time Owen came in the room he stopped dead in his tracks and said “Mom, why are you wearing those glasses?”. I said, “they’re my new glasses, remember Owen?” and he said “oh, yeah.”

I forgot to mention that I am a bad, bad, bad person. Do you know why? Because I should be at the preschool Halloween party with my long suffering and good looking husband and my two beloved children. Instead I said, “oh, you really want me to go?” and Ernie said I didn’t have to. He didn’t even seem irritated with me (which I would have been). He really is a much better person than I am. And what am I doing with this precious free time? Yup–posting on my blog. However I did promise dinner so I better get down there and look in the refrigerator…..

I hope you have forgiven yourself for taking a break. Whether soaking in the tub, scrubbing tile floors, or posting on your blog, even moms get to take a break. No matter how fabulous their husbands are! No matter how horrible the last fourteen years have been for their seven year olds! No matter what is/is not in the refrigerator! In fact, I’m so inspired by you that I may even take a break myself!
