I guess it happens to everyone at some point. Our Christmas tree fell over. If you know me you know that I have lots of old glass ornaments and am very sentimental about them. sigh.

Leo immediately wanted to cancel our Christmas party in case somebody knocked it over again. We’re not quite sure what happened. I assured Leo that Daddy is in the midst of wiring the damn tree to the wall. Owen just sits sobbing and cradling his broken fire truck ornament. I told him we can get him another one. Oh man, do I have a headache.

  5. One year I had a tree that fell over three times!!! The kids were devastated the first two times and by the third time–we were all laughing. Yet–I was devastated that I lost so many ornaments that meant so much to me. We usually end up wiring the damn thing to the wall of the ceiling to prevent it from happening.
