WONDERFUL NEWS…..PSA WAS <0.1 OR ‘UNDETECTABLE’. Gosh, what I do to myself with worrying but this test was a big deal. I know I’ll worry every four months when he gets this but it was fantastic news to know that even with the hormones totally out of his system his PSA still didn’t show up. Also, yesterday was the last day of the experimental trial he was on studying bone loss in men after prostate cancer treatment. He was glad to do it but it’s good to have it over too.
So we’re blowing off the antique show tonight as we’re dead broke but that’s o.k. We’re going to build a fire in the fire place, roast a chicken (I’ve been obsessing over different techniques for roasting chickens but that’s another post….) and drink a toast to UNDETECTABLE PSA’S!!
Now don’t forget—-all men who turn 50 should make sure they get their psa tested and if you have any close family members that had prostate cancer you should be tested even earlier. That and it won’t hurt to fill up on lycopene…..find some sundried tomato recipes……
by the way….thanks for all the kind thoughts…..
This is great news!!! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!! Love you, Gisela
