I really enjoyed that interview. Although, at the risk of being unmasked as uncool, I am not absolutely sure who Ian Hunter is. Of course, I know “All the Young Dudes,” if that’s his song, but other than that, I’m clueless. Still, hearing him and Craig talk brought back some vague memories, and he was in fact a charmer.

oh, you’re not alone….as much as I am somewhat obsessed with him…not everyone knows who Ian Hunter is. He was the lead singer for Mott the Hoople in the 70s (probably best known for All the Young Dudes although it was actually written by Bowie) and in his solo career some of his songs are best known by others (Great White had a hit with Once Bitten Twice Shy, Barry Manilow of all people had a hit with Ships and of course he wrote Cleveland Rocks—-which most people know as the theme to the Drew Carey show). He’s 68 and just put out a great album….I’m as smitten as ever….
