Leo likes high tide the best, reportedly so the waves will fill in holes he digs….me….I’m a low tide girl all the way….you can walk forever out into the water, all sorts of rocks show up, there are little tidal pools to look for baby crabs in, you can find lots of shells and sand dollars….there seem to be miles of wet, shiny beach….what’s not to like about low tide?
We will get the keys to our little house in Maine in the afternoon of Saturday the 28th. Low tide is at 4:41 p.m. according to the tide charts. mmmmmm. I can’t wait…….
I’m a low tide gal myself. I love to see all of the treasures that the ocean has left behind.
Your pics of Old Orchard Beach reminds me of when we took our kids to Santa Cruz last year. We had a fantastic day at the boardwalk and my only regret is that we didn’t stay the night instead of driving all the way back to San Franciso.
Have a great vacation!
oh, I can’t wait…and yes, I hope to feel like a new woman too…
Dawn, our house is just about 3 or 4 houses to the beach, we can see the ocean from the front steps of the house…..
