A week of transition….

Well, my father refused to go to adult daycare yesterday. So be it.  My mother said he was perfectly lucid and argued like the lawyer he is.  She hasn’t given up on the idea entirely…but we’ll see.  On a brighter note, my mother got hold of their old homecare worker and she is going to start tomorrow.  So…some changes….some good.

Ernie and Leo cleaned up Leo’s room so you can see the floor….trying to prepare for school routines….like going to bed at a reasonable time.  Owen continues to be nervous…..we go and meet his kindergarten teacher Friday and he starts on Monday. Leo goes a couple of hours on Friday with his first full day also on Monday.

I’m trying to get used to working from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. again with just a tiny break for lunch.  Sure easy to get out of that routine….

So a week of transition for all of us.  I’ve been going to bed early as I’m looking forward to sleep these days.  I read the same 10 pages of a book every night, Owen sings me a lullaby and curls up next to me and I sink blissfully into sleep.

Thoughts?
