I love popsters

I came across this and found it rather charming….all of it…..

I was actually looking for a Mitch Easter clip but two thirds of the Nerves showed up in my search and I was quite taken with it.

I was looking for some Mitch Easter because this Friday night is Mitch Easter Night…..  Yes, the inimitable popster (and producer of Turning Curious no less) has a new album coming out and the plan is to meet our dear friend David Conroyd at the NV Ultralounge in Normal, Illinois and see him (along with the Tim Lee Three which has a Vertebrats feel to some of their stuff).  Unfortunately I think David and Ernie will be without me as we don’t have a babysitter.   Anybody have a reputable, kind, patient and available  babysitter?

  1. You know, I bought that Turning Curious record from my favorite record store — Streetside Records, Webster Groves, MO — based solely on the fact that it was produced by Mitch Easter. Probably haven’t pulled it out in 10 years or so, but do remember loving it greatly. So how great is it that someone went to the trouble of ripping the record and putting it out there for download? I <3 the internets!
Hope you guys have fun at the show -- think he'll do Blue Line or Every Little Word Means No? Color me green with envy.
