When I was a kid December 22 was one of my favorite days. The symmetry of the date always seems very important to me. I remember asking a friend to stay over night on the 22nd and when she had to change the day I was crushed. It just wasn’t going to be as special on the 21st…..anyway…
Owen’s feeling a bit better…enough so we went out to lunch yesterday. He actually wants a whole Santa suit but for now he’s just trying to wear as much red as possible.
Happy December 22, 2007. I think I’m just going to send my Christmas cards out after Christmas. I’m thinking it’s more important to relax and enjoy myself right now.
By the way—I must thank everyone who commented regarding Owen’s school situation. It made me feel MUCH better to know you were in agreement. Posting may be sporadic….but please know you have my best wishes for the holidays and the happiest of New Years…..
I just read about the school situation and you know how I feel about this. Shame on this teacher! How un developmentally appropriate! You need to call her on this one! Poor Owen…
