Yeah, I drove from Springfield to LeRoy in that tonight. Lightening was striking right next to I 55 much of the drive. It was scary, but not as downright terrifying as last night. Last night I stopped stock still on the interstate because I thought a car was going the WRONG way on I 74.

Us too. We also sleep in our basement, which until now has been fondly referred to as “the garden apartment”. Now it’s “the effing basement”. We moved our mattress upstairs while we wait for everything to dry out.

Pretty much everyone we know with a basement in the area has a flooded one. I thought of you since Leo told me about water in the basement before. Let us know if we can help. We some how came out of the flood with a dry basement.
