I came across this stunning picture of my beloved Kristi Rose on facebook. She's modeling Margaret Ellis jewelry….which is similarly gorgeous and can be found here. I showed the picture to Ernie and he said, "DAMN." I showed the picture to Owen and he said, "ohhhh….she looks SO pretty." Later I showed the picture to Leo and after looking at it he stared at me and said, "what do you want me to say?" I said, "oh nothing honey, I just thought she looked so pretty." He looked at me seriously and said, "Mom, I don't judge people by their looks." I sputtered, saying "well, I don't love Kristi Rose because she's beautiful I just love her because she's a such a lovely person." He looked at me and nodded and then I kissed him. Because really…what else you gonna do?

Thanks to “This is Pulp Country” there are a couple brand new fans in my office. Heck, at the top of the heat wave, I even broke out “Merry Aqua Velvet”, just because it sounds so, well, cool. Love Kristi Rose and hopefully we’ll get to see her (and Fats) again at Christmastime! Thanks, Cynthia! (I think I’m going to be buying a bracelet as a result of seeing this photo, as well)
