And that does NOT mean For The Win.

I think I'm having a mid-life crisis of the I'm-a-50-something-woman-with-lots-of-unexplained-symptoms-and-everybody-is-throwing-their-hands-in-the-air sort. If not throwing their hands in the air, they are telling me to advocate for myself. And Lord only knows I have yelled at more than my fair share of doctors over the years, and done a damned fine job of it, if I do say so myself, but I've gone to the doctor, told him what's wrong, he's said let's test this and this and this, so we're doing that…what the hell else am I supposed to do? This is the same as people telling you to stay positive when you have cancer or something, like you need more fucking pressure. And let me just say, you DON'T need any more fucking pressure.

I've spent much of the day emailing back and forth about FMLA. Let me just say if one could get FMLA for stressful FMLA communications, I would be out a fucking year.

Oh, and this all VERY helpful for my health.

In other news….

I don't think I pay enough attention to this simple single white peony.

This poor peony needs to apply for FMLA.

Onward.

  1. A “few” years ago, i told my Dr that everything started falling apart when I hit 50. He straighr-faced and correctly said, “When you hit 50, 50 hits back.” This doesn’t help, but does validate your frustration!!
