Waiting for Storms

There are few things I love as much as sitting in the yard with the boys waiting for a thunderstorm to hit. The light started looking a bit eery yesterday, so I glanced at the radar, and immediately called Leo and Ernie. We went outside and lined up our chairs to face the west. Owen pulled up in Cyril and joined us. We watched the clouds grow and the lightning begin to flash. When the rain hit we went to the porch. Owen and I eventually wimped out and went inside, shutting windows, but it took a long time for Ernie and Leo to come in. They love their storms. We peered out periodically as the hail and the wind hit. I wish I could have captured it in a picture but it was beyond my skills. A lovely time with my boys.

And at least the nasturtium seeds are in.

Onward.
