I know, I know. It's a LOT of pictures, but honestly, I pared it down as much as I could. The forecast was iffy, but after a lovely breakfast (Brian is a master short order cook), the skies cleared and it was a stunningly beautiful day.
The lilacs on Beaver Island are mindboggling. They are EVERYWHERE…and absolutely huge…some must be 12 feet tall. The scent just followed you.
I forgot a fork for my salad so I ate it with my hands, it was surprisingly enjoyable.
Nobody would wade with me. I waded anyway.
So mad I left Leo's zoom lens that he lent me, at home. The water lilies were just getting ready to flower.
Beaver Island has its own shoe tree (as well as a bra and an underwear tree).
After all the wandering, we stopped for a drink. This was the view.

Dinner was perfect. Everybody made something and it all came together for a feast. Then we headed to the beach for the sunset.
