I'd forgotten the Groundhog Day aspect of radiation. The same time every day, the same people before you, the same people after you, the same staff, the same waiting room, the same folks, like me, waiting for their loved ones. People cycle in and out. The guy missing part of his foot wasn't there today and there was a new woman and she had the regular hospital gown not the breast cancer center fancy one.
Over and over.
Six down, nine to go. Not that radiation is difficult or unpleasant. It just well, it is what it is. Ernie said today as he was lying on the table listening to the machine buzz over him he could hear Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar On Me playing in the background. For some reason that made me laugh all the way out of the parking garage.
