On Wednesday it was time to head home. I had to do some work in the hotel room for a bit and then we eventually headed out. Completely forgot to stop and take a picture of the Donelson Bowl and we'd meant to check out the Sunflower Bakehouse. Oh well, next time, Nashville.

I didn't have a firm plan but wanted to start out by heading to Palmyra, Tennesee to see the Enoch Wickham sculptures. Oh good god in heaven were they wonderful. I'm so glad we did.

Ghostly figures along the road. Time and vandalism have taken their toll but they are still stunning, maybe even more so.

Down the road at the family cemetery. His angel looks over the family graves.

Then, as we headed out we came across what I believe is the original location, along with the remains of Wickham's three room cabin that he built, and some more sculptures, some sadly covered with graffiti.
