Ernie's appointments were a little later in the day than usual so between blood draw, waiting for test results, doctor appointment, and then finally, chemo, it seemed to take up most of the day. It's always such a relief when I get him home afterward. I remember when the boys were little and Ernie was out of town for an antique show, I always felt such relief when I got them all picked up from school or wherever, got the shopping done, and us all home. It feels like that for some reason. Just a huge sense of relief that you're home, don't have to go out again, and with your loved ones.

I was going to say we had a quiet evening but then again, aren't all the evenings quiet now? I cooked some shrimp with cayenne, cumin and coriander and threw it on a salad along with some herb dressing. I made the shrimp too salty, but otherwise it was ok.

Ernie, sending me a signal that he was almost done.
