Thanks for the heaps of kind words and offers (and the donation for a good bottle of wine ♥️). Like everybody else, we are hanging in there. The good news is that Owen and Trinity had another test and were both negative. We are cautiously hopeful. Owen has a low fever over the weekend and they both didn't feel well so I was pretty anxious. We are continuing to try to be very careful.
Thank you so much for the prayers and good wishes for Debbie. I am trying to repeat 'treatable' and 'curable' over and over. For those of you that don't know, our other sister Judi died of cancer in 2009 which is why this hit me particularly hard. I can't believe it's been that long. Her cancer was never 'treatable or 'curable' so I am trying to keep things in perspective. Debbie is the only member of my immediate family left and she is incredibly important to our family. So please keep the good thoughts, prayers, or anything else like that going!
Yesterday would have been Nick Rudd's birthday. I made a small donation in his name. Please check out the website with info on that, lots of folks (including Ernie and me) reminiscing about Nick.
I was going to end by saying, "It's been a hell of a week," but then again, it's only Monday.
Onward.
Now a few pictures, just because I can't think of anything else to say.
If you ever come to our house and see a rumpled blanket…do NOT sit on it!
Many thanks to the squirrel who planted our rogue pumpkin. They have brought us much joy.
And Ernie's new t-shirt….courtesy our beloved Phil Lee.
Ha, Ernie 👊🏼!
Personally, I don’t wanna, but will be glad if someone else does it.
All those pumpkins from the one plant?? Wow!!
Ernie’s looking rather dapper! ha to that shirt! of course from Phil Lee–haha!!
♥ to all of youse…
