I love this picture of Owen and Trinity. He’s trying one of the deviled eggs she made. She’s got that “I hope it’s good” look and you can tell he’s grinning at her. The deviled eggs WERE wonderful so, as we told her, she’s stuck now. Every year please.

I came across this picture of Leo (and Johnny) the other day. I had to send it to Tal. I mean just look at that little face.

Breakfast this morning: heated up sausage dressing (gluten-free) with eggs from the Eggmaster.

I read some bits of an interview with Ina Garten and Nigella Lawson. My favorite quote: “Doing the dishes is harder than cooking,” Lawson says, and “the things that won’t go in the dishwasher can wait. I can go to bed with a messy kitchen. I’m a great soaker of things.” I knew I liked her.

The other day Ernie brought me a toasted cheese sandwich with strawberries for breakfast. He also found wax paper to wrap the sandwich in. He said it was a tribute the Winery in Decatur. I love him. I don’t know if the Winery still wraps their burgers in wax paper, but they did when we were there years ago.

My lights are back. If any squirrels mess with them there will be hell to pay.

Onward.
