First: SNOW!!!!
I think my nuclear boy is doing better (despite pretty bad fatigue) but I seem to have had a resurgence of my cold. Didn’t I just say recently that I never get colds? I should know better than to say things like that. I think when I become moderately stressed/depressed my immune system just shrugs and says, “the hell with it, I’m outa here.”
I have been battling with my wi-fi router and booster and somehow I can’t get into my bank account on my computer but can on my phone and the IRS website is driving me insane. I’m usually pretty good at this stuff but it’s all making me want to cry and God knows none of it is cry-worthy. I think I’m just very, very tired.
Ernie went and got his blood drawn this morning. Keytruda infusion tomorrow. I hope I’m better as it seems rude to go to the cancer center when one has a cold, even masked.
We just put a pot of chili (low fodmap) together and have it simmering on the stove for later. A good day for it.
Ground beef cooked with spices (cayenne, cumin, oregano, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, ancho pepper, salt and pepper), a big can of crushed tomatoes, a grated sweet potato, two grated zucchinis and three poblanos. I’ll let you know how it turns out. In the meantime we are watching a Hallmark-esque Thanksgiving movie.
Ernie’s bills never cease to amaze me. I don’t know what we’d do without good insurance and the help of so many.
We got our last garden delivery of the year from the Campbell/Munson compound. Beautiful, beautiful Swiss chard. Thank you guys for all the beautiful produce this summer.
