I can’t decide if 2022 was a long year or a short year. I do know it was both quiet and eventful at the same time. There were some difficult times. I lost, in no particular order, my uterus, Ceal Allen, Eileen Kelly, Jim Eyre, Peter Cooper and Bob. That is a lot right there, and it brought simple grief as well as more complicated emotions.
No house concerts this year but the incredible Black-Volkl Festival which did our hearts more good than you can imagine, with friends putting it together, friends performing and friends attending. There was also the incredibly generous GoFundMe campaign which has allowed us to get through the ups and downs of the year. Not quite as many wanders but a few excellent little trips.
Onward to 2023
