Yesterday Ernie finally had another treatment at Barnes after a couple of months delay due to his blood levels. Our beloved Bob drove him down which was so incredibly kind. I don’t know what the hell Bob did to him but Ernie came home just poppin,’ chatty, chatty, chatty and positively bouncing around the house. I think it was good for him to spend time with a friend, namely, someone other than me. There were also homemade blueberry muffins from Ann involved, so perhaps perhaps that was it. Treatment went fine (it’s quicker than the drive down) and they were back home by 7 pm. Our neighbor Barb delivered dinner right after Ernie got home. We are indeed more than fortunate with our friends.
Below is Ernie’s creation: Tomato Man. As he pointed out (Ernie, not Tomato Man) his right hand is a fist. Tomatoes by Steve and Heather.

I don’t know if it’s the morphine or what but Ernie has been delightfully goofy. I love that boy. Here he is doing an incredibly rare selfie with Barb’s chicken.

In other news, the first of the Busterettes has bloomed and the zinnias are coming!

Onward to today’s spreadsheet column.
Tell Ernie I like his Tomato Man!!!!!!
